This is a very nice and scarce Victorian era Oliver pattern water bottle that remains in excellent condition. The body is constructed of wood with iron circular bands at the top and bottom and a vertical band running from top to bottom on the front and back. The rear vertical band has a loop attached at the top with a leather tipped web strap running down and fastening to button on the front of the lower band. The bottle is complete with the original wooden screw in spout, peg and brown peg retaining cord. There are no worm holes in the body, and it remains in overall excellent condition.
