This is an extremely fine and heavy pair of WWI Imperial Prussian Generalleutnant shoulder boards that are in excellent condition. They are constructed of inter-woven gold bullion cords with a central silver bullion cord that has black chevrons to indicate an officer from the State of Prussian. The cords are sewn down to a bright red wool underlay. The red wool tongue on each board is completely intact and undamaged. There is a gold General’s button at the upper end of each board that is now held in place by a small sliver of wood. This is a matched pair of boards that exhibit an ever so slight curvature from having seen service on a uniform. They are an extremely fine-looking set that remain in excellent + condition.
