Here we have a U.S. First World War Armored Corps enlisted man’s collar insignia that is in very good condition. It is constructed of bronze and is with much of the original black finish remaining. The detail and background stippling is sharp and well defined. The reverse is screw back and complete with the securing nut. This disk is a bit thinner than U.S. made collar disks and could possibly be of French manufacture. It remains a fine-looking insignia from the fledgling U.S. Armored Corps and one that is in very good and complete condition.
