This is a classic First World War U.S. Marine Corps enlisted man’s forest green uniform in near mint condition. It is constructed of U.S. Marine Corps enlisted quality forest green wool and complete with all dark bronze finished naval service buttons. The buttons are marked on the reverse, “B & S – MFG. Co.”. The jacket is cut in the correct World War I style with double seams above each breast pocket and stand-up collar. There are two button-down breast pockets and two larger button-down hip pockets. Affixed to either side of the front collar opening is a completely original, bronze World War I U.S. Marine Corps screw back collar disk. The interior is lined with forest green cotton and features a left and right side slit pocket. There are a few, insignificant, pinhead size holes present that are hardly noticeable and do not distract from the display ability of the jacket in any way.
