This is an extremely fine World War II German Luftwaffe leather flight helmet with all the electronic components that remains in excellent condition. It is constructed of fine brown leather with a fleece lining to the interior. All straps and buckles are present and functional. The rubber coated radio cable with Bakelite phone plug at the end is excellent as well. The ear phones are in the pockets at the sides and the throat mic with it functional snap is also present. Sewn into the fleece lining are two BeVo woven spec labels. One reads, “SIEMENS Baumuster L Kp W101 – (Fliegerkopfhaube)” and the other with the maker, “Striegel & Wagner. Lichtemfels/Bayer. Ostmark”. The ink stamped size “55” and other issue marking are also present. This is as complete and in as fine a condition as you could hope to find.
