Here we have a very nice World War II Japanese Type 90 Helmet shell that remains in excellent condition. It is complete with 95% of the original light OD tan paint. It is complete with the metal star affixed to the front. The liner is not present in the shell. There is a hairline crack in the metal on the right-hand side of the shell. This appears to have happened when the helmet was stamped out in the factory as a welded repair seems to have been made to this crack on the interior side that is underneath the original factory paint. Notwithstanding, this is a beautiful example worthy of restoration if desired or it can be left to display as is. Displays very well.
